5 Simple Drinks That Are Way More Exciting Than Water

Water is always the best drink choice, but it can get a little boring. Here are 5 healthy drink options for you that are tasty, healthy, and simple.

1. "Infuse" your water.

Fill up your water bottle and toss in mint, cucumber, lemon, orange, or whatever sounds good to you. Drink right away, or let sit overnight to get a bolder flavor. Try on this Cucumber Mint Water for size.

2. Make a seltzer.

$8 for 12 cans of flavored seltzer? No thanks. Plain club soda and seltzer are much cheaper. Buy it by the liter, and add berries or citrus to flavor.

3.  Bust out the bubbly.

Mix your favorite juice with club soda for a fruity, bubbly beverage! Exhibit A: Fruit Juice Fizz

4. Give frozen berries a go.

Pop frozen blueberries or raspberries in water or seltzer for a little flair. This is especially useful with kids. What is it about a berry floating around in your drink that makes it so much better?!

5. Ice, ice, baby.

Fill an ice cube tray with fruits or herbs before topping off with water and freezing, like we do with these Fruit Ice Cubes. You could even freeze juice into cubes and add to seltzer or plain water. Or blend these frozen cubes into a slushie! The possibilities are endless.

I love water big time. Nevertheless, it's good to drink it not in plain form once in a while. Thanks for these ideas. I'm trying that number 5 later today.

Thanks for you comment! Water is definitely one of the best ways to hydrate. It is fun to mix it up though and we are so happy to learn you will give Fruit Ice Cubes a try. Soooo refreshing!
