Staying active everyday helps keep you healthy for life.
Exercising for 30 minutes a day, 5 times a week can help lower your risk for heart attack and stroke. It can also help lower blood pressure and cholesterol. Starting exercise and making it a daily habit is often the hardest part for most people.

Try these tips for some easy ways to start exercising daily!

Walk to where you're going,
Walk to school, work, or anywhere! Walking with someone is a great way to spend time together. Try starting a new routine walking to school some days each week, or going for a walk after dinner.  Another easy trick for this is parking your car further away at the store, or getting off the bus one stop earlier than normal!

Walking for 30 minutes can burn up to 140 calories.
